Aiyana is an absolutely stunning alpaca and is a terrific testament to her Studmaster genetics. She has drop dead gorgeous looks and a wonderful fleece. From the minute she hit the ground there was no mistaking she was special. Aiyana has the same superb conformation and a wonderful typey look of both her dam and sire. And she has presence to die for. She carries a full top-knot, and covered cheeks and chin. Her soft fleece has terrific character displaying beautiful independent bundling with deep, bold crimp and super brightness.
This El Toro girl is a real eye-catcher. Her lovely light fawn fleece covers a hint of dark pigment around her eyes and nose, making her a good candidate to breed to a dark herdsire. Her first cria, from the well known silver grey male, Shaquille, produced a striking dark brown male with black points. His fleece is buttery soft like his dam's and he already has her striking presence and classic huacaya look. Aiyana is an excellent mother--very attentive and producing plenty of milk.
Aiyana has been rebred to Shemeneto, meaning "Black Snake," was aptly named for the revered Shawnee Chief. He is a bold bay black, out of NWA Ltd Mohican, a gorgeous white male sired by Studmaster Artero, a Hemingway son. From his sire, Neto got a lovely bright fleece that's beautifully crimpy from ear to tail. His large square frame can be credited to both his parents.
