Females like this are usually closely held -- often you get a chance at them only when they have produced multiple female offspring, as is the case here.
Petra is a awesome foundation quality female. She was sired by 6Peruvian Accoyo The Last Don out of a Majestado de Peru daughter. Her first cria, a female, showed in the competitive light fawn and beige classes with impressive results that included a blue ribbon. Now she's moving on to her breeding career. Her second cria, also female, ... |

Our “full package” just got a bit fuller! Pelegrina is confirmed bred to Accoyo America Enterprise, the fawn full Accoyo male owned by Accoyos of Virginia, for a late spring 2013 cria. His offspring have been outstanding and we are really exited about the prospects of this particular combination.
The first step to lingering fineness is starting fine -- and Pelegrina did just that. Her cria fleece was sampled and revealed an AFD of just 14 microns, reflective of the fineness that her sire Chase Tavern Estrada is passing on regularly to his crias. She also possesses the excellent density carried by her mother, a 6Peruvian Accoyo The Last Don daugther, as well as good character and consistency throughout her fleece. In her first show, Pelegrina earned a 3rd place in a very competitive juvenile light fawn class at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee, a level V event. She followed that up with another 3rd place ribbon showing as a Beige at the Northeast Alpaca Expo. In her first outing as a yearling, she took a first at the New Jersey Alpaca classic. Pelegrina has everything she needs to be a star foundation female. We can’t wait to see her offspring.
