Hawkeye is probably the last full Accoyo fawn offspring of the legendary Accoyo El Nino, revered for his prepotency in passing his outstanding characteristics on to his offspring, and we expect no less from Hawkeye. Hawkeye's full brother, Accoyo Polaris, just sold for $100,000 at the 2012 Parade of Champions Auction! His dam, Pussywillow, was a Futurity champion with numerous illustrious offspring. El Nino was reknown for DENSITY, and he has passed this trait on to his son, Hawkey... |

Lovely, fine, bright, crimped fleece with nice bundling and density on a correctly conformed large frame. Carlotta has found her calling in life as a "Mama", and is an easy breeder and a pleasant animal.
Her crias have been winners--her first (Chayo) has 2 Championships and numerous blue ribbons, and her second (Urubamba) took a blue ribbon his first time out in the ring!
Carlotta gave us a BRIGHT and stunning white male cria by Accoyo America Hawkeye, our fawn full-Accoyo herdsire. She ... |

So, here you have an opportunity to capture genetics from the late and great Accoyo El Nino AND one of Greg Meclum's top producing females, Pussywillow. Mohican is the spitting image of his champion fawn sire, Accoyo America Hawkeye. Hawkeye's full brother, Accoyo America Polaris just sold for $100,000 at the 2012 Parade of Champions!
Mohican's dam, Carlotta, has produced a multi-champion male and we expect similar show results from this boy. So, buy him as a yearling at our low price, and have fun showing him in the ring!
His first time out in the ring, when he was barely 6 months, Mohican took 3rd of 13 at the Great Western Alpaca show. Now that he's older and his secondary fibers have come in, he is developing a dense fleece with the same outrageous "in your face" crimp that his sire demonstrates. The judges love his strong, balanced conformation and his fine, bright, uniform fleece with long staple length and a really lovely handle. Check out his 2012 histogram--excellent fineness, consistency, and curvature! Mohican has a sturdy build with a level topline and excellent coverage. Although he is "phenotypically" white, with both fawn sire and dam, we expect Mohican would pass color to his crias. And best of all, he has his sire's head--wedge-shaped with a mass of facial fleece coverage--adorable!
