Sprite is the knockout daughter of the 2003 AOBA Nationals fawn color champion, MFI Monsanto. In 2003 alone, Monsanto won two other color championships, at MAPACA and the Virginia Classic. His elite fleece beat some of the best to take these top awards, and now his daughter has followed in his footsteps with her own first place finish at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show! Sprite's dam, now deceased, was the beautiful 1994 Peruvian import, PPeruvian Sanccochay.
We are really not interested in selling Sprite, as she is the very best of our foundation dams. We have to put a price on her to get her to show up in more searches.
Sprite is a stunning female with her sire's regal presence. She has enormous bone in her feet. Her fleece has advanced architecture, with high-curvature crimp, and beautiful bundles. It has good density AND is very consistent from shoulder to tail, and top line to mid belly.
Did we say she was stunning? Sprite is the farm diva and she knows it! She struts her stuff for visitors and is the indisputable pronking queen! Check out her photos on page 119 of the 2012 Autumn issue of Alpacas Magazine, and page 132 of the 2011 issue of Alpacas Magazine!
Sprite delivered her first cria with no complications in May 2011. See this gorgeous boy under his own listing, Grandstander's Globetrotter. He is also featured on the COVER of the Autumn 2013 issue of Alpacas Magazine!
Sprite delivered her second cria October 2013. He's a beautiful medium fawn out of Peruvian Lancaster! See his own listing under Lancaster's Touche'.
1st Place (Fleece) - MAPACA Jubilee - Judge Ursula Monroe, "Great uniformity in this fleece"
2nd Place (Fleece) - Southern Select - Judge Wini Labrecque
3rd Place (Fleece) - AOBA National Conference - Judge Kristin Buhrmann
Because Sprite was agisted until she was two years old, and because of bio-security concerns, she was never shown in halter classes.
