Located in Hernando FL on over 9 acres of oak-shaded pasture, we specialize in Bolivian suris. Many of the alpacas are older and candidates for retirement. Some younger ones will arrive later in 2013. Presently, our guard llama Nora is borrowed from The Colorfield farm in IN where our scheduled guard is awaiting a summer cria. Other llamas may join the farm after they are sheared; and, we can bring in guards from several farms should someone here want one.
Presently our 'color girl is a beautiful medium rose gray girl Ruby that has won many ribbons in her show career on the west coast at Foothills Farm. Her daughter Chenin also lives here.
Also notably, we have Uptown Girl, a girl wearing a fawn blanket on a white body as well as two spotted beauties, Melody and Glitter. Three snow-white girls include Kissy and Moonbeam (Melody's dam) from Irish Valley Farm in MI and Allie a 2009 girl from Graham Brown's Rancho Alpaca line. Allie's dam, Love that Red may be joining the group in the next few weeks. The darling alpaca now on our logo is Holly-Berry, daughter of Hallelujah, a friend of Moonbeam's, still at her home farm with her dam.
We are slated to add three studs later as only two of the candidates are sheared now and the unshorn stud Top Gun who used to live in Florida is black. Also the understanding is that the farm site needs an inspection of the stud housing situation so that we do not have ' cria surprises'.
We work co-operatively with farms in MI, NY, OH and IN and can acquire select alpaca via trades or purchase so can supply interesting genetics we do not own to interested FL and GA farms.
