Sundust Farm is home to 24 alpacas, both huacaya and suri. We have a shearer come in May to shear them. Their fleece has been sent off to a CT mill for processing into roving, yarn, and rug yarn. The roving will be handspun into natural colors as well as dyed shades for a beautiful yarn. Some fleeces will be used for alpaca rug yarn, to be handwoven into amazing alpaca area rugs.
We are enjoying watching two of the juvenile alpacas as they grow up. They all have different personalities, so never a dull moment at the farm. Will have fleeces available in Spring. See HomewoodFarm on Etsy for fiber products.

Welcome Additions!

The suri alpacas have arrived! We have added 19 beautiful high quality suri alpacas to our farm. They have done a remarkable job of settling in and adjusting to their new surroundings. It took them a little while to get used to the donkey's braying, roosters crowing and dogs barking, but now all is well. They barely notice it, and even walk over and look right into the hen house. The mini donkeys are friendly, so that has been a positive experience as well.
We sell fiber products, roving, handspun yarn.
