Living Our Dream!

We are a small farm breeding and raising Suri alpacas and concentrating on infusing the Accoyo genetics. We are located in Nelson County in Virginia. Our ranch is located in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah National Park which is located 20 miles west of Charlottesville, VA. This ranch is the fulfillment of our dream to raise and breed the wonderful suri alpacas.

We love to talk alpacas and welcome you to our farm! Just contact us to schedule a visit.

Herdsire Accoyo Adar

Dam Venus with Cria Vision

Our goals are to breed alpacas that produce exceptional fiber (luster, density, fineness and uniformity of fleece), have excellent conformation and are phenotypical of the Suri breed. To accomplish our goals we are focusing on 3 primary factors: Genetics, Health and Nutrtion and Environment.

To follow our goals to breed for quality suri alpacas we breed only to herdsires that come from champion bloodlines and concentrate on the proven Accoyo genetics to enhance their conformation and fleece quality. Our current herdsire Accoyo lines include Torbio, Jackpot, Ace, Uribe, Santana, Bruxo, Maurizio, Ramilo, Montoyo, Macgyver Phoenix and Baron. In addition to their conformation and fleece, our dams are breed for their nurturing qualities, abundance of milk production, ease of pregnancy and delivery with good dispositions.

Proper nutrition is essential to the production of high quality fiber and excellent conformation. We provide the proper nutritional elements which include well-maintained pastures, quality hay, pure well water, supplements and minerals.

We believe the alpacas flourish in a safe and secure environment, where they are treated with loving care and respect. In using this approach we minimize the stress induced during our daily interactions with our alpacas. We spend time with the alpacas to socialize them to people and work with them to attend AOBA Shows. Every alpaca that we have taken to an AOBA show has won a ribbon(s).

We are a small ranch and we will remain small. This enables us to provide individual attention to the needs and development of each alpaca as well as supporting buyers and visitors to our farm. Whether you are a buyer or just want to learn more about the wonderful world of alpacas, please contact us.
