Situated on 5 acres just outside of Denver, CO, Rocky Mountain Alpacas prides itself on raising quality alpacas in a family focused atmosphere! Our alpacas display fine fleece with exquisite crimp, dynamic density and excellent conformation along with the sweet dispostition that makes alpacas so endearing -the ultimate "cuddly" package!

We offer a full range of services from sales and breedings to our high quality herdsires to boarding, brokering and training on our fully equipped obstacle course. We foster long term relationships with the young and the young at heart mentoring all who are interested in realizing a simpler lifestyle.

Many people are concerned with the stewardship to the land and environment by alpaca breeders. While raising high quality animals we are dedicated to respecting and caring for the land and the wildlife as well as our alpacas. Rocky Mountain Alpacas is enabling our family to pursue our passion to ranch and to help us sustain the way of life we value.

While expanding our breeders program and becoming more knowledgeable, we are very active in 4-H and the ABR Youth Initiative. We have shown our alpacas competitively at local and national levels. Our daughter is now learning to judge alpacas on both local and national levels.

Along with our full range of services listed above we also offer education on everything from how to choose quality alpacas, raising a healthy herd all the way through to fleece preparation and processing. With every alpaca offered by Rocky Mountain Alpacas the processing of up to 5 pounds of fleece for the first year is included! We take our clients from the birth of the cria to the processing of their fleece. No more worrying about what to do with all the bags of fleece after shearing day is done. With every alpaca acquired clients also get to relish in their alpacas "end" products - and we don't mean the poo!
