We are a NON-SMOKING, PET FRIENDLY Alpaca farm located in Deepstep, GA. We have over 65 Suri and Huacaya Alpacas, in almost all colors of the alpaca rainbow.
We process all of our own fiber in a NON-SMOKING, PET FRIENDLY environment. After shearing, we wash, skirt and clean the fiber. After that, we pick the fiber to open up the locks so that we can feed it through our drum carder. Currently, we are selling raw fiber or carded batts. Soon we will offer hand-spun yarns to help feed your fiber addiction.
For 2012, I have skirted and washed all of my Huacaya Prime fiber and I'm starting to process it into roving and yarn. I am not processing my Suri fiber until I am done with the Huacaya. Until then, all of the Suri fleeces have been weighed and the amounts posted for each animal.
Also, I still have most of the 2nds/3rds left from my Huacayas, so if you need something specific, email me and I'll see what I've got.
