Pepper has exceptional fiber coverage with a low 18 micron and finely crimped fiber. He has consistently produced solid black when bred to black and gray progeny when bred to rose gray and gray, all exhibiting excellent fiber character, density, brightness and conformation. He carries gray genes from his Dad, a champion at AOBA in '99 and the wonderful fiber characteristics of his Dam.

Sunny Mesa's Pepperdyne progeny, exhibit EXQUISITE, finely crimped fiber testing at 17-18 microns. Coal, his first, was recognized by two senior judges for his fineness in halter and fleece shows. His full sister Velvet followed Coal in quality and fineness. Pepper is an excellent choice for maintaining black color, lowering micron, improving brightness and coverage and producing "advanced" character, exceptionally bright black fleece.

For 2011 Pepper gave us 4 grays and one black! A silver gray with our color reserve champ Brandywine, a dark gray with Black Forest Bacardi Silver, a dark gray with our rose gray Lady Canela, a dark gray with our brown Lady Charlotte and a true black with our true black Queen of Sheba (a Black Magic daughter)

Pepper gave us a silver gray cria on August 16, 2012 from our champ Brandywine. This will be our only offspring this year from Pepper. There are only 2 left from last year: Cognac Reserve VS (silver gray) and Nordic Midnight (true black)

Limited outside breedings. Call early! Pepper is stabled at Las Bonitas in Colorado,

Co-owned with Las Bonitas Alpaca Ranch LLC

Our retirement forces us to sell our 1/2 interest in Pepperdyne.

Congratulations to Goodrich Alpaca Haven. Look at Cognac's crimpy fleece! He had very long staple length his juvi year and a very soft hand. Cognac...
