Once again this incredibly fine and dense dam gave us a carbon copy black female in 2013. A Black Diamond is what she looked like at birth, so quite possibly that will be her name. Prestige gave us an awesome girl Carmella in August 2012. The sire is Chief who is doing an incredible job producing density and fineness, always a winning combination. La Prestige is a beautiful female out of Inspiration, our top grey female. Her sire is Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction.
La Prestige's fleece is very fine and crimpy and is true black in color. She has a gorgeous head and excellent conformation. La Prestige has a micron count of 17.8.

This girl has a pleasing personality and impressive quality to add to her progeny.Carmella is a beautiful young maiden with a pedigree from the who's who of Patagonia's VERY BEST! Black or grey color breeders pay attention....she's out of two blacks. Her dame is La Prestige, a Neruda daughter. She is following in the footsteps of her mother who garnered many wins in the show ring – she was a 2x champion with three 1st's & three 2nd's in large shows. If Lennox, Neruda, Kaspa or Nishio is what your herd desires...look no further.

This girl is conformationally correct and has beautifully fine fleece, displaying great consistency and density. In 2014 Carmella won a Reserve Color Championship at Alpacapalooza, respectfully coming up from second place ahead of all the other first place winners.
