Sire:
Nightsky Orionn
| AOA# 30702059  | White  |
Accoyo America Apocalypse son!

Orionn is an overall 'improver' of all fiber qualities across dams no matter what. Have a dam that needs more than one trait improved... Orionn can help!

Orionn (DOB 9/15/2007):
2017 (10 yrs old): 19.3 micron
2015 (8 yrs old): 17.7 micron

**Offspring**

AutumnSun's Daystar (DOB 7/11/15), male. Dam: Kamala (LF); Beige + 2 small brown spots
2017 (yearling, almost 2 yrs old): 15.5 micron
2016 (juvenile, about 10.5 months old): 17.5 micron (higher due to feed)

Spot (DOB ~ 4/13), male. Dam: Dillinger's Gennesis (DB); White + 1 brown spot
2017 (4 yrs old): ~16 micron

AutumnSun's Spindrifter (DOB 8/27/14), male. Dam: Dillinger's Gennesis (DB); Dark Fawn
2017 (~3 yrs old): 18.4 micron

AutumnSun's Freestylin (DOB 10/2/14). Dam Twrill / Sire Orionn. Appaloosa female
2017 (~3 yrs old): ~20 micron

The previous owner micron check tested his fiber in 5/22/2008 - AFD 18.43, SD 4.16, CV 22.57, %>30 0.78, CURV 49.7, SF 18.19 and 4.2 lbs fleece weight. This gave him an EPD that year of 1.2% for AFD, SD, and %>30 and an EPD less than 1% for SF.

Nightsky Orionn is a full brother to Stargazer’s Yohkow, Stargazer’s Yo and Stargazer’s Yukon who all have rated very high in the ARI EPD program, according to Stargazer:
- Yohkow:
2013 23.4; 4.7; 20.2 92.6

- Yukon:
2014 17.5 SD 3.2 CV 18.4 CF 99.7
2012 16.4 SD 3.8 CV 23.2 CF 99.6
2011 17.5 SD 3.8 CV 21.5 CF 99.5

Orionn's son -- AVR Comet at Ranch 222 Alpacas -- was fiber micron tested at:
06/2012 - AFD 18.8, SD 5.1, CV 26.9, %>30 3.7, CURV 47.8, SF 19.3

His daughter Imitation on our farm has won reserve champion with her exceptionally fine, crimpy, bundling, long stapled fleece!

Dam:
Little Lilly
| AOA# 1345483  | Light Fawn, Medium Fawn, Medium Rose Grey  |
Lilly is a a harlequin rose grey Hannaruh granddaughter. Lilly was an appaloosa in her younger days and is now considered a Modern MRG by show rules (a harlequin grey by colloquial description).

Before she came to our farm Lilly produced an appaloosa cria, Imitation, that went on to win in shows. She was bred to a CMSG male and produced a MDSG female in 2015, so she shows she can produce grey! Imitation has been been bred to our appaloosa herdsire Jacob twice to produce appy girls both time; when bred to a solid male, Imitation produced a solid cria.

We bred Lilly to a CMRG grey for her 2017 cria, and produced a.... white male. Hmm. Not what we hoped for but maybe more of what we should have. Rather than being a classically colored grey, her coloration lends itself to harlequin, pattern or solid. This male has a proud stance, good conformation, good density and crimp with potential.

Her previous farm's comments:
Lilly is a gorgeous appaloosa female with the ribbons to prove it!
She stands tall and straight and beautiful. She has perfect conformation and a correct bite.
Her fleece has very high frequency crimp with density, fineness and luster to die for. She has a very easy going personality and is easy to handle. She always gets pregnant on the first time and births easily. And so far the ratio has been great too - two beautiful female crias in a row. Lilly is an attentive mother who produced a lovely dark colored female cria, out of Xanadu's Brutus' Firecracker. "Disco" has amazing fleece and is standing tall and beautiful just like mom. We had to repeat this breeding again because this little girl is winning in the ring and this years white female, Lena, is sure to do the same! This year [sic; past year] she was bred to Tapestry's Kahuna and produced a handsome dense as can be light fawn male "Sonny".

Service Sire:
AutumnSun's Wesley

Proven

AutumnSun's Wesley

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, White, Medium Rose Grey
ARI# 35160267 | DOB: 7/31/2019
Wesley has a proud stature in a good frame with strong bones. If you like flashy, stop here! His conformation is spot on and his looks are typey. His markings are striking with spots, a mask, and a grey background. His fiber is crimpy across his body on a nice staple and architecture. With his sire's pedigree stacked in grey and his dam's heritage leaning towards spots, we think he would fit nicely in either program.Grab him at this sale price before we see how he produces and we consider rai...

Description

A strong pattern history and still loaded in Peruvian / Accoyo heritage! Fine, crimpy, dense fiber.... And she's a great mom, and a proven producer of color and pattern.

Imitation produced a solid color when bred to solid, in our cute as a button "Not Just a Girl" -- a MB 2015 female sired by Peruvian Black Jag. NJAG is in our foundation herd as we tease out her black genetics ;).

Then, she produced her appaloosa girl, Firefly, sired by our appaloosa herdsire Jacob. She is already special with her strongly delineated dark brown, almost bay black, spots all over her white/beige backround. We predict that she will retain her clear spotting --just like her sire, Jacob -- rather than muting into a harlequin grey. That is exactly what we were breeding for! Firefly has sold to a farm interested in appies and we hear she is already bred to a harle male for her 2021 cria!

The next year, Imitation produced a full sister to Firefly who is so close in appearance that you might think they were twins. The same dark spots, the same cute nose button marking and brown feet. Constellation is sold and well on her way to making her own 'mark' at her new farm!

Imitation produced a beige male by our black Maelstrom, but OMG is his fiber fine, shiny, crimpy, dense, long -- you name it and he has it! We cannot help but think how this boy wold fit very nicely in a harlequinn / appy program since he has both appy and black genetics. His name is Star Dune and is available for his own herd.

Imitation had a beautiful LB boy with a matching impressive headstyle to his sire, Major General. Gentry has been to a couple of shows now and managed to hold his own in tough classes, winning 2nd at both the 2023 AOA National Show and at the 2023 GWAS. We are considering adding him to our herdsire row.

As her last cria, in 2022, she produced a LB /LRG male from our modern grey, LibertyAlpacas's Magistrate (co-owned with Liberty) that we named Hologram. We are watching his fiber develop and have high hopes!

Now she is bred to Wesley -- the masked herdsire that may be in the 'grey' category but leans heavily towards spots.
