    Today (12/8/2011) was a very sad day at North Plains Alpacas, we said goodbye to Rico. He died early this morning of congestive heart failure. We thank the Lord for such a gift, and so thankful for the offspring we have and the ones coming in 2012!

    Sara was bred to DDF Peruvian Rico Suave and gave birth to a male (NPA Peruvian Orion Suave) on 7/7/2011! She had been rebred back to Rico Suave for a 2012 cria and gave us a female (NPA Peruvian America Suave)! Sara gave birth to a stunning female (NPA Peruvian Monroe) out of Fir Cove's Accoyo Avalanche this 2013.
