    This Herdsire hit the show circuit with a "Splash". At 6 months of age, he took a Blue Ribbon in his class and then went on to win Color Champion against all the Blue Ribbon winners in both the True Black and Bay Black classes at Denver's Great Western Alpaca Show against the top black Suri farms. The judge said that you knew he was a Champion when he walked in the ring. His "Presence" is Awesome, his fleece has consistant slick tight locks, and he has a wonderful "hand". Besides his First Place and Color Championship at GWAS, he competed against Balboa taking 2nd place ribons, in 06 & 07, at AOBA, and a 2nd place ribbon at Futurity! He won another blue ribbon at the 2008 Minnesota Alpaca Expo. Wow!
    His first cria is a true black male with tight locks and wonderful luster. So, if you want "Curls on your Girls" call for breeding discounts.
    Montego will be standing stud at Sandhills Suri Alpacas through 2012. Come see him in person!

    Chocolate Ice Mocha is a very nice female. She has nice size and great suri phenotype. She has very nice bone and great confirmation.

    Mocha has a wonderful dark chocolate colored fiber that has an individual lock structure and great luster with density.

    Mocha comes with a breeding to any Red Gate herdsires.

    Financing Terms

    FINANCING TERMS: Though we believe that our for sale animals are priced appropriately, all reasonable offers will be considered. Financing offered up to two years, 25% down at signing and 50% down to take animals home. Interest rate at 1% over prime. Payments will be split into equal monthly payments. No prepayment penalty. BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION: All animals sold will be given up to a maximum of 90 days free board with a signed boarding contract in effect. After that time period, standard boarding fees will apply. Transportation expenses will be the responsibility of the purchaser, unless other agreements are made the the purchase contract. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES: All animals sold at Red Gate Alpaca Farm come with full farm guarantees that include good health, up to date vaccinations,reproductively sound and educational support regarding care and maintenance. Guarantees and warranties will be specific to each sale and spelled out in the purchase contract.
