    Wintercreek's Jamison passed in 2024. We miss him a lot. He was a gentle herdsire, always patient and always gentle.

    Jamison had his last cria in August 2024. This offspring, JamieMac Jamison, has all of Jamison's fiber traits. Very high luster, excellent and consistent crimp. Extreme density and wonderful fineness. JamiMac is a stunner and will make a great herdsire himself.

    Wintercreek's Lyra is beautiful! Her fleece is uniform from shoulder to hip. Her high-amplitude crimp is from skin to tips. She has density and fantastic fineness. I am excited to breed her this spring. She will make a fantastic breeding female!

    Lyra is a very quiet girl, and was one of the easiest alpacas I have ever trained. She is just one of those girls that has perfect conformation and presence. She is totally trusting and very confident when she is away from the herd. She is a pleasure to work with.

    Description

    Beautiful Phenotype! Typey head and perfect conformation! Fleece style is very crimpy and forms individual bundles. Luster is very bright. Consistent density, color and fineness from shoulder to hip. Very dense.

    Dam is WC's Lyra (MF) and beautiful. Sire is Wintercreek's Jamison who is throwing all colors, and a lot of rose grey.

    Lochlan is ready to breed. He is looking for his own herd because he is related to most of my herd.

    I have not been able to part with him because of his fiber! It makes the most luxurious yarn! But now it time.

    I am offering Lochlan as a potential herdsire/fiber alpaca. His fineness has maintained his low micron for his age. He has the phenotype for the show ring and he is very easy to handle and quiet.

    Lochlan will make a great addition to a young farm looking for color. Or a great addition to a fiber farm.

    If he has not sold by Spring 2019, I will be breeding him to one of my females so he will be 'Proven'. Be sure to keep your eye on him!
