    Kiera is a True Black female. A ribbon winner in the show ring and a proven Dam. She has delivered SIX females! And two males..

    Her lineage is extremely strong; Michelangelo, Peruvian Guellermo and BBlack Thunder.

    She passes on fineness and a tight crimp to her cria.

    Very typey head with full fiber to her toes. Kiera passes on her correct phenotype to her cria.

    She is an older female, but continues to breed easily, mother excellently and maintains her health wonderfully.

    Kiera is bred to Accoyo America Endeavor for a Fall-2015 cria.

    I repeated this breeding with Endeavor because in 2011 she delivered a spectacular little light brown male with Endeavor's head and fleece weights. Alastar now has his own herd of females in Iowa and they are excited to be getting their little Accoyos this spring!

    Description

    Duncan has been a surprise all around. Thought he was medium fawn as a cria...was selling him as a pet boy and was showing his fiber to a client, and....WOW! Medium Rose Grey and beginning to fill in!

    His lineage has a lot of color behind him. Lots of grey/rose grey, some white and lots of black. Duncan will be a strong color producer.

    I have not used him for breeding because he is related to most of the females on the ranch. However, he is still intact and raring to go.

    Duncan is very gentle and easy to handle. He is my PR boy when I have visitors to the ranch. He will also lead with little ones and he stays very calm.

    He has been one of my most popular fiber boys. I have been selling his fiber each year, almost before it is shorn from his frame! His fiber makes a lovely light taupe yarn and is comfortable to wear as a scarf or hat.

    He has strong bone structure, a great bite and has always been very healthy.

    As his price reflects, I am selling him as a fiber/pet quality alpaca

    However, he could be put to work as a herdsire on a small farm that is just starting a breeding program. His price would increase to $1000 to include his AOA Registration papers.

    He would love to have his own herd!
