Maserati is the “Renaissance Man” for Suri Alpacas. He has is all! Open him up, anywhere on his body, including his legs, and you’ll find lustrous, ropey, dense, fine locks. His consistency is incredible. His density is incredible. His luster is incredible. The quality and the quantity of his fleece is exceptional.

His sire is the Herdsire of Champions, Accoyo Torbio. He has all the positive, Accoyo traits that the pre-potent Torbio has been known to pass on. His dam is My Peruvian Capellini, a multiple blue ribbon dam of exceptional quality. She is by the rare and highly sought after Olajuwon, a true black known for throwing beautiful grey offspring. Capellini has phenomenal fleece coming back, year after year, and is the one in Maserati’s pedigree passing on a keen intelligence and beautiful color genes. This production package of AccoyoTorbio and Capellini is rock-solid!

In the Championship circle, Maserati competed against and won Champion over the male that won championships at both the 2006 AOBA Nationals and the All American Futurity. In the shows that Maserati participated, he always came home with top winnings. He’s a multiple champion in both halter and fleece shows.

In his first year of production, Maserati produced 4 color champions on our small ranch, one of which took Judge's Choice at the 2009 AOBA National Conference! He has definitely proven to be an incredible, consistent herd sire.

Illyria has a beautiful well locked fleece that is consistent across the blanket and exhibits extreme luster. She is maintaining her fineness with an impressive AFD of 22.6 at 73 months of age. She is correct conformationally and carries herself with pride. Look at who her sire is and there is no doubt she is special. SBS Crown Prince, twice AOBA National Champion with 12 championships in all, is one of the most prepotent suri herdsires working today. Prince is an Accoyo Crown Royale son and his dam is the very well respected, 7 time champion, Arizona Sage. Illyria's dam, Uli, had a strong show career herself and brings in additional Accoyo lines from Bruxo and Membrillo.

Illyria had a great showing at Nationals, 2012, finishing second to Judge's Choice, Spectacular, and Illyria was the youngest in the fawn yearling class having turned one year just days before the show. This girl just gets better each day and she has a very sweet, easy to handle, disposition.

Description

This girl has it all! We knew we had something special from the moment Ariel was born, and boy were we right! Amazing lock structure, luster, density, all put on a conformationally correct frame. Her first two shows out as a Juvie and she has three firsts to her name and two Color Championships, against some pretty tough competition, one at a level 5 show! We are excited to see what the future holds for this little girl!

2016 hasn't slowed Ariel one bit. She received Color Champion at the National Western Stock Show, Color Champion in the Invited Fawn Female Champions and Reserve Color Champion at MOPACA, with the judges continuing to comment on her incredible lock structure, luster and density. Ariel finished out her show career at GWAS in 2016 with another Reserve Champion, and her fleece took first at the Suri Symposium all Suri Fleece Show. Ariel delivered a stunning light brown male cria out of Crown Royale's White Knight in 2017 who went on to be Futurity Champion at 7 months of age! She delivered a bay black male cria, Flynn Rider by Nico in 2018, and and has done it again with her fawn male cria by Spectacular Bid, Secretariat! Ariel Is bred to Phoenix for a 2025 cria!
