Rosey's son Joe Malone took a blue ribbon at the very competitive 2014 GWAS judged by Peter Kennedy.

Description

We are so excited to introduce the genetics of Black Hill's Joe Malone to our herd. We have focused for many years on breeding high end white alpacas and have recently added color to the mix. Joe is one of our new studs we are using to influence fineness and density in our colored animals.

Joe comes from a line of solid black and grey on both his sire and dam's side of the ARI. These genetics are showing themselves in Joe's fleece. His secondary fibers are so incredibly fine that I would pair Joe with our finest females. He also packs a lot of fiber into his blanket. He has the density of a white and the longest staple length on the farm. Lastly, he has really incredible brightness, just look at his fleece shot.

We are really excited to get cria from Joe in the ground and into the show ring. Give us a call to set up a time to see this guy. You will quickly fall in love!
