Six-time Color Champ!

Sauk Creek Sebastian

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven | Medium Fawn

AOA# 1219845   D.O.B. 6/6/2004, 3/4 Peruvian, 1/4 Chilean

Sire:
JSFI Dakota
| AOA# 802413  | Medium Fawn  |
3/4 Peruvian

The son of Magical Farms PPeruvian Emilio, Dakota passes on his strong bone and fleece characteristics to his offspring, while the dam's underlying color is typically expressed.

We have selected him for our breeding program for his extreme density and deep bold crimp characteristics. Along with his very typy head to toe coverage we have not over-looked his heavy bone and muscle structure.

Dakota’s coverage and yield results have now been confirmed by skin biopsy. He shows a S/P follicle ratio of 10.9 – well into the “superior” category for a breeding male at age seven - AND Dakota passes it on – he breeds true for crimp and coverage, and has increased yield on every dam he has covered.

His cria show his heavy coverage and deep amplitude crimp through out their blanket, neck and legs. Many of his offspring are bringing home ribbons and color championships in every color.

Dam:
Anjinha's Castanha
| AOA# 156878  | Medium Brown  |
Medium Brown, 156878

Cassie is a Colten (true black) daughter with well-defined crimp in a beautiful deep maroon. She’s an incredible mother and perfect for those wanting to add color to their breeding program. Cassie is one of those "work horses" that everyone wants on their farm. She never has a problem giving birth, she has plenty of milk and she's a terrific mom. When bred to JSFI Dakota (winner of multiple get-of-sire awards), she has passed on beautiful crimpy lustrous fleece, while Dakota has added density and high-amplitude crimp. They are a winning pair and their offspring include many blue ribbon winners and color champions.

Description

Sebastian took home first place for Get-of-Sire at the 2010 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival!.

Six-time color champ Sauk Creek Sebastian's first crias have been spectacular! He has thrown color including a medium brown out of a white dam. Sebastian has complete coverage from his nose to his toes with unbelievable leg coverage. With heavy bone, excellent conformation, incredibly dense crimpy fleece and a sweet, calm nature, Sebastian can bring improvement to any breeding program. Judge Mike Safley called Sebastian "robust" and gave him a color championship.

Sebastian's famous sire, JSFI Dakota, was winner of eight get-of-sire awards in his show career. The son of Magical Farm's PPeruvian Emilio, Dakota has passed on his strong bone and fleece characteristics. Sebastian’s buttery soft fleece has incredible staple length, density, deep amplitude crimp and soft hand. His histogram reads: AFD=19.4 SD=4.4 CV=22.4% CF=98.4% Curve=39.

Sebastian has been busy "criating" the next generation. His cria are so distinctive that no one has to ask who is the father and they're winning big in the show ring. We also offer substantial discounts to new and smaller breeders, repeat customers and multiple breedings. Call 920-807-0108 (home) or 608-698-3431 (cell) to arrange a breeding date.

He's an easy handler with a great disposition.
