Babette is a tall, statuesque alpaca and she stands with the same proud stance as her sire, Saladin. No other way to describe Babette except to say she is a very tall and strong girl. She is full Peruvian as Saladin's dam and sire were both imports and her dam, Sasha, was also a Peruvian import. When her fiber was sorted by a certified sorter in 2014 it was given high marks for its luster and separation. The beige cria she had in August 2014 out of PVA Kobe's Emissary has stunning luster, awesome fineness and density along with a very consistent lock throughout her entire fleece. The 2016 cria out of our Torbio's Dumbledore looks to have those same great qualities and they may be even better. Babette is doing a great job of taking the best of the sire she's bred to and passing those characteristics on to her crias and those crias are very big and strong like their dam. She's a great foundation female because of that.
The price includes the 2016 fawn cria at Babette's side and the cria produced by MMALP Goldstar's Bojack that she will be carrying and will be due in 2017. So, you get Babette that does a great job of taking the great qualities of a herdsire and breeds up, a potential show string fawn female cria, and a future cria by a herdsire that won banners galore in the show ring and has great biopsy results to show that was not fluke.
