ROCKSTAR's Fiona Apple is a gorgeous female out of one of our top foundation dams, EL R Lulu and by El R Manchu's Hawk, a 2012 IAO Reserve Color Champion whose dam is one of my most favorite all time alpacas of all time, El R Dove. All of these coveted genetics were part of the highly successful El Ranchito/Alpacas at West Ranch herd, where uncompromising quality has produced only the best. Fiona offers the discerning breeder a pedigree deeply rooted in some of the earliest lines bred in the US after importation, as well as some of the most prepotent lines we see winning multi-color championships in the most highly sought after breeding programs today. Fiona exhibits strong substance of bone, a level topline, and pleasing head. When you open her fleece you'll see a very long staple which organizes well into distinct bundles with beautiful character. This character remains consistent throughout Fiona's blanket, up her neck and down onto her flank and legs. Fi's fleece is abundant, shearing a roughly 4.5 lb blanket this year of 17.4 micron fleece. Her yearling fleece was in the 16 micron ranch with a low SD.
