Well organized staples, extreme brightness, high frequency, and high amplitude crimp, very very fine (16.1 AFD, 2.8 SD, 16.8 CV, .4 >30) and excellent density. Add to that a great head and very typey conformation to his body style,and you have a champion. Fiber Optic's sire is the great Legacy (Herdsire of the year in 2002 and highest selling alpaca EVER!), and his dam is a Peruvian with a 17 micron fleece.
Fiber Optic's first cria have hit the ground, and they are spectacular!!

Description

Finn is a stunning, robust male. He is conformationally correct and his fleece is consistent between the dark brown and white. He's super dense with a nice hand and low guard hair. He's the son of 8x Color Champion Fiber Optic. Fiber Optic, simply stated has an elite fleece. Well organized staples, extreme brightness, high frequency, and high amplitude crimp, very very fine (16.1 AFD, 2.8 SD, 16.8 CV, .4 >30) and excellent density. Finn displays the desirable qualities of his sire's impressive genetics and amazing fleece.

Finn took a blue ribbon in the mature class at the 2013 Green Mountain. Judge Jude Anderson said that she was impressed at the consistency of his fleece between the dark and the light, especially at his age. She appreciated his full, robust frame and his conformation. He really turned heads at the show!
