Description

WOW....Where to start! Coco is a big, beautiful girl. Perfectly conformed, and fleece that will knock your socks off. Extremely dense, very fine & crimp from skin to tips. Her fleece has that soft buttery hand that's to die for!

She has done well in the show ring, taking 2nd in the largest show in the country. She is a very, very sweet girl. Friendly and one of the first alpacas to greet visitor at the farm. She loves to get her neck rubbed and spend time with her humans.

But what about her lineage? Her dam is a large framed, bay black girl with 20.5 micron fleece...at 9+ years old!! Yes....black, 9 years old, 20 micron fleece!? What about her sire? How about a Legacy son, with 8 Championships to his credit. Fiber Optic is putting cria after cria on the ground that are spectacular! And Coco may be the best of the lot. At 7 years old her fleece is at 19.7 micron with only a 3.7 SD and 1.6% fibers over 30 micron. Amazing!

Her 2013 cria Sweet Coco's Lady Godiva, sired by Glenn Ridge Peruvian Ambassador, has both of her parent's desirable fleece characteristics. Bright, crimpy, dense fawn fleece with that super buttery hand. Coco is doing just as we hoped and passing her great fiber characteristics onto her cria!
