November 2016 - Bijoux delivered a handsome, super fine, dense, bundle of gorgeousness right on her due date! ROCKSTAR's Jackson Brown is a very dark chocolate brown by FTAF Blackbeard. He is, perhaps, the most photographed cria we've ever had at ROCKSTAR... he simply has the sweetest little teddy bear face, with the most expressive eyes I've ever We cannot wait to watch this little rock star grow up!

Bijoux is a serious ROCKSTAR and has proven to be a top true black foundation dam. Her genetics feature strong black color as well as excellent fleece quality and strong conformation with the bloodlines of Peruvian Demetrio, Felix, Ghengis Kahn, Zorro PC, and Outback Gold in her background.(Her ARI cert defies describing her as Peruvian, or Chilean, etc. She is truly a lady of the world! She is true black, velvety soft with nice brightness and superior density. Her conformation is rock solid. At the ABR Fall Festival 2006 Bijoux won reserve color champion. The judge remarked that she loved her fleece and that she was denser and finer than the champion alpaca. In 2007 her fleece won black color championship and first place at the AFCNA fleece show.

Bijoux is a wonderful mother; she breeds easily, delivers her crias without assistance, and has plenty of milk. She is very mellow and easily handled. She is the ideal foundation dam, and we anticipate many excellent crias from her in the future. I really love this girl and hesitate even selling her. Purchase her now before I change my mind!

Description

ROCKSTAR's Roxxxxanne delivered a beautiful little male on June 21, 2016. She is an amazing mother - very attentive to her new little cria, stands like a statue while letting him nurse, and I just saw her giving him kisses. Weighing in at 17.5 lbs, this little guy is the spitting image of his dam with a deep, rich uniform color. Looking into his fleece it's extremely BRIGHT, is looking very curly, and feels dense just like mom and dad. Stay tuned for updates.

ROCKSTAR's Roxxxxanne is a stunning daughter of Hobby Horse Black Epic's Signature and our ROCKSTAR dam Bijoux, and what a knockout she is! She is striking to look at in the field - well proportioned with very nice bone and lovely balance. Simone's fleece is uber dense and bright, with nice fineness and a bolder crimp style. We've bred Roxy to our .38 Special son Thaddeus who will contribute the added fineness and uniformity we'd like to see in their offspring. Should be a knockout of a cria and both are a solid asset to any breeding program including ours!

Call or email us today - don't think Roxy will last long, especially once her cria is born! We're in need of downsizing to make room for spring cria but this one I'm thinking will be a keeper!
