Description

Born on our farm, Awinita is a charmer. Awinita's name loosely translates as "little fawn" in a Cherokee dialect. When she was born, she truly looked to be a light fawn, but you see, she has blossomed out in white. She has color in her background mostly on her sire's side, MF, MB and TB as the darker color heritage, and if you are looking to add color flexibility to your herd, she's got it. Her fleece remains luxurious, she has fineness, and a pleasing handle passed on to her by her sire and nice lock structure and staple length from her dam, who is also on our farm. This year's fleece is easily going to top a 4 inch staple length, rivaling her dam's. If you are a hand spinner, her fleece makes a fine, lightweight yarn. Contact me and lets arrange a visit.
