Tikanui exemplifies the Suri phenotype. Indeed, Tikanui was even bestowed the special "best head" award by Don Julio Barreda's daughter Elena at the 2012 Futurity Show! He went on to win Reserve Color Champion at the 2012 Futurity. And, at over two years of age and 10 months of fleece growth since shearing, Tikanui won Color Champion at The 2013 Futurity, competing against other first rate, full-fleeced whites. Tikanui is consistently in the top 1% of EPDs. As of 2016, 15 of Tikanui's offspring had at least one trait in the top 1% of EPDs. Not only is Tikanui spectacular to look at, he is a gentle guy, always easy to work with and a joy to be around! His progeny are doing fabulous things in the show ring.
