He has the phenotype that we look for in our alpacas, and the judges seem to agree. He carries a high amplitude and high frequency crimp that runs from skin to tip. It is consistent from shoulder to hip, up the neck, and down into the belly and legs. As you separate his fleece, the staples separate into smaller staples supporting the incredible density of his very fine fleece. That uniformity is demonstrated in his very soft handle.

Dr. Norm Evans said that " Ezekial's Challenger of Marquam Hill has the highest Skin Biopsy Results I have found in 2012 and his results are in the top 1% of all the alpacas I have tested"

We have sold out of breedings for Challenger in 2012 and 2103 (Sold out in five days) however we are talking reservations for no more than 10 outside breeding in 2015. The list is filling up......

Description

TP Transcendence is a young male that I am really excited about. His dam, Teresina Bella recently passed away. She was spectacularly dense and fine. We chose to breed her to Ezekiel's Challenger to improve some of the qualities where she already excelled.

Transcendence is a beautiful boy! His conformation is upright and proud. His fleece shows a lot of promise...it is bright, dense, and fine. His fleece appears to be very consistent and has beautiful fineness, density and style. I can't wait to put this boy to work!

His 15x scan shows fiber clusters that are uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. His density is 80 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio based on 25 typical fiber clusters is 12.6 to 1. He shows level 4 of 4 gland presence and 25% of his secondary fibers show a degree of medullation. 100 secondary fibers average 18.4 microns while 50 primary fibers average 27.7 microns for a variation of 9.3 microns. The above stats figure an AFD of 19.13 microns.
