Cirocco is the result of a breeding our Vengador's Countess (white) to our Black Res. Champion Chill Factor. Okay, we didn't really plan it that way, but that's what happened. Sometimes these things DO work out. As is the case with Cirocco.
Cirocco (Rocky, Rockstar.....) is light fawn or beige depending on where you open the fleece. The fleece is fine, extremely dense and bright with beautiful structure. The greatest part of his fleece is the consistency and the fact that the character extends to his belly and down all four legs. He's got perfect conformation and phenotype and he's easy to work with. We think this boy is destined to be a great herdsire capable of producing just about any color. His sire is the son of Mega Champion Grey, Challenger of KPR. His dam is a daughter of the incomparable Vengador. This combination offers amazing possibilities.
Cirocco is retired from the showing now, but I have to tell you one of the most exciting ribbons he earned was the 5th Place at VAOBA 2013. Fifth place is exciting? I sent Cirocco to the show with a friend. When she called and excitedly told me he was placed 5th is a class of 15, I was a little puzzled. That is the lowest he had ever placed so why was she so excited? He was the ONLY one of the top six who was not from one or another of the largest, most successful breeding programs in the US. Apparently we have a great one here.
Rocco's crias are both brown females and both beautiful.
