We are really excited to have had the opportunity to purchase Snowmass Trilogy from Don and Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas. He is out of their Royal Grand Dam, Snowmass Liberty Bell and is sired by Snowmass Messiah. This particular combination cannot be duplicated due to the unfortunate death of Trilogy's dam Snowmass Liberty Bell. Trilogy is a large framed male much like his maternal brothers, Infinity and Artic Wind. The one thing they also have in common is the rare trait of having large frames in hand with exquisitely fine fleece, which continues to remain fine through the years.

Snowmass Alpacas had other large framed alpacas over their years of breeding that they were excited about. However, if they could not keep their fineness of fleece, they were no longer employed as stud males in the Snowmass breeding program. Snowmass Trilogy not only is large and fine fleeced, but he is well balanced and outstanding looking.

Trilogy has a high amplitude crimp style with medium frequency combined with a long locking staple. His fleece also carries extreme brightness. It is that brightness, long-term fineness and tremendous weight of fleece in hand that he is passing on to his progeny.

Snowmass Trilogy has been classified by Snowmass Alpaca as a "Royal Proven Production Stud"(RPPS). Each of these studs is proven to have produced 90% or more of their offspring with an AFD under 20 microns with less than 5%>30 in the progeny's first and second year's fleece.
