Patagonia's El Vasco has a championship show record due to his very stylish look and very dense (70 follicles SQMM) very soft (19 micron) very consistent (SP 13to1) fleece. El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. He has a beautiful head. Vasco is 1/2 brother to Kaspa, the 2003 AOBA grey champion male (same dam). He has sired well over 100 offspring.

El Vasco was sired by the famous, exotic modern grey Neruda. One of the industry's rare dark point grey's, Neruda sold for $205,000 making his genetics some of the most sought after in the country. El Vasco's dam, Melosa was sired by PPeruvian Pluro who made a name for himself in Peru, the United States and Australia. Pluro's breeding's were in high demand for his ability to pass on his incredible fleece coverage and large bone.

PATAGONIA'S GIORGIA
Giorgia's sire is Patagonia's El Vasco, a beautiful black male sired by the exotic Patagonia's Neruda. El Vasco is a True Black Champion male known for his fineness and density. (At age 10 El Vasco was maintaining a 23.6 AFD.) Her maternal grandsire is none other than the legendary Patagonia's Lennox!

Giorgia also competed in the show ring, bringing home several ribbons including Reserve Champion and 1st Place at the 2014 Northwest Alpaca Showcase!

In 2024, Giorgia has One trait ranking in the Top 15% EPDs plus Three ranking in the Top 25%!


We bred Giorgia back to our wonderful Matrix son, Snowmass Pure Passion for an October 2025 cria.


Offspring:
On 8/18/17, Giorgia gave birth to a handsome light fawn male sired by Patagonia's El Canto de Chile. He has a gorgeous fleece, nice head and great conformation.

On 5/29/22, Giorgia presented us with a handsome light fawn male sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion.

On 5/6/24, Giorgia gave us a good-looking light fawn male also sired by the legendary Snowmass Pure Passion.
