2016 was a great year for Mixie. It was the only year she attended shows and she earned a Championship and two second places (FFH).

(RANKED 38th of 39,442 for fleece weight in the 2016 EPDs.) In 2016, petite Mixie sheared 10 pounds total (4.8 # blanket, 4" staple, lovely aligned crimp and bright). She's sweet and smart too.

Mixie's white Accoyo sire has produced true black crias and her phenomenally gorgeous dam is a medium fawn Matrix daughter.

We purchased this stunning maiden at the Alpaca Amore Affaire 2016 pen sale from Casa De Arboles. Thank you Maggie! A few other breeders were seriously considering her, so I made a deposit Saturday night. The next day, at 30 months old, judge Sharon Loner awarded Mixie the white female Championship from a field of 15 and said, "...I knew who my winner was as soon as she walked into the ring."

The first things you notice are her excellence in phenotype, conformation, proportions and presence. She is packed with fleece nose to toes and has graceful movement in all gaits. She has a full topknot, short muzzle with depth of jaw, compact size, level topline, even leg spacing, low tail set, deep chest, ample bone and complete fleece coverage. Her huge blanket fleece exhibits excellence in uniformity, density, consistent high definition crimp, brightness, uniformity, fineness, handle and very long staple length.

Her dam, Matrisia, is still producing at 16 years of age.
