Diablo earned his name because when he was born his ears made him look devilish. I really held off trying to come up with another name...but Rob was right, and Diablo it is.

Diablo has done very well in his show career. 3 purple banners!!! 7 blues.

color champion at the Big E 2012, Color champion for fleece at the Green Mountain and Reserve Color Champion at the Southern Select Fleece show. He has a great square build and obviously terrific fleece. great structure and architecture, and soft soft soft! Diablo has been throwing wonderful cria. We are very happy with him. Kabo was one of the most beautiful yearling grey girls I have ever seen. She still carries that look with her, but has definitely grown into the maternal young lady look! The first thing you notice about her is her perfectly straight conformation, and the beautiful head and eyes she has. Her color is that lovely medium to light silver grey that breeders look for. Her fiber is extremely dense with a nice crimp style and very favorable handle. You really need to see her in the fields to see what a perfect lady she is, but with a good size to her.

Her overall picture is what made us decide to breed her to Nemo. She had a terrific cria from him (Rosehaven's Triple Crown). We then bred her to Spruceridge's Grey Skies. And lo and behold, another beautiful boy that we named Thundercloud.
Kabo is one of our great foundation producers! cria after cria after cria!

Love this girl! Our farm has gotten too big though and we are starting to sell some of our foundation girls - you can enjoy this girl and breed her!!

Kabo had a great girl Diablique - that we bred to Centaur - and now have Centiablo!! who just got a reserve championship!!!

Description

Diablique is the beautiful daughter of our Champion Diablo and our incredible cria producer Kabo. Diablique has wonderful fiber, low micron, great structure, excellent hande and great conformation. Everything we are all looking for as fiber producers. She is also hiding grey. We think she is a light rose grey - but will not show in the ring under that category - but rather under fawn. In fawn she will not place high because of the color of her fleece. Grey breeders will recognize her markings as a grey pattern. Breed her to grey - and get grey!! you won't be sorry. Diablique in the ring took 2nds and 3rds and a 5th. she didn't walk though - which is interesting. She has a perfect phenotype.

we bred her to Centaur and got a beautiful rose grey boy Centiablo. Centiablo does well in the ring - gets 2nd every time!!! He tries harder!! We should have called him Avis. We bred her to Tres Equis and we got a very light fawn with a grey pattern - or an incredibly light rose grey. We don't know yet - he is too young. But he was born on the anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock - so of course his name is Woodstock! Diablique had a beautiful 2022 female Heather Rose - Light Rose Grey - out of Smokin Waves!! So thrilled she is bred back to Smoking for 2023

Diablique had another stellar cria from Smokin Waves. born 6/1/2023. a male looks brown might change, and at the moment has potential for very nice fleece.

We have bred her to Crescent Moon's Kemmaus. Can't wait to see what they produce.
