Almirante brings extreme density and fineness to an breeding. His first histogram measured his MFD at 16.3 microns. His skin biopsie set his density at 74.4 follicles SQmm. His fleece bundles with a very high frequency crimp. This explains Almirante's early show success of 4 first place blue ribbons and a reserve color champion as a juvinal.
Almirante's sire, Patagonia's Lennox has produced more champion progeny then any other Patagonia herdsire. Lennox's density is 83.25 follicles SQmm. Lennox is the 8 time color champion son of Danko, a famous medium rose grey.
