Description

Divinity's fleece color is divine. She was registered as a fawn, but all along we wondered if it should have been rose grey. We have had some of her fleece sorted by a certified sorter in the past and Divinity's fleece is a combination of fibers that are fawns, white, browns, and bay black. She is light rose grey in color according to how her fleece will be used in production. Her fleece has great luster, is fine, and very dense. All the various colors do lead to some variation in micron, but we feel she has good uniformity when considering the variations in color and has a very soft feel to her fleece. Her histogram bears all those things out. Other comments about her fleece from the fiber sorter were "nice handle" and "easy to process lock style." Her locks are a flatter, more open lock, and are layered on her sides like shingles. She's beautiful! (And her EPDs are good, click on the link.)

While the bottom part of her pedigree isn't going to make anyone look at it twice, it should be noted that her dam is the mother of Libertad's Notorious, a blue ribbon winner at The Futurity as a dark rose grey juvenile. And then Notorious sired MMALP Citation that won a RC banner at The Futurity. Divinity has inherited her dam's (as well as her sire's) great leg coverage. The powerfully built body and solid legs are definitely like her dam. The top part of the pedigree does make people take note. Full Accoyo Goldstar is a 20 time Get of Sire champion including 3 times at Nationals and 3 times at The Futurity. Goldstar has been producing champions for quite a while and continues to do so. Paternal Grandfather is Rockstar and Great-Grandfather is the great Torbio. Overall, we would say that her pedigree is a solid one.

Divinity had a 15.4 lb. male cria on 7/15/2018. The cria was sired by Silver Heat and is black. The boy has a great Suri phenotype and has a dense, lustrous, fine, and nicely locked fleece. We couldn't be happier with him. The reason we bred Divinity to Silver Heat was to try to get a grey cria and got this outstanding black boy instead.

We believe Divinity is bred from a breakout of our males on 6/4/2020. I have listed the herdsire as Abe because I believe I saw that match as I was chasing males, but it could be Challenger, Abe, or BB. We feel any of those 3 would be a good match for Divinity.
