Rubie is the first cria born on our farm on April 1, 2012.

She is a joy to behold with her soft curly fawn fleece, big dark eyes, and sweet disposition.

Rubie loves to run and is very swift on her feet. Early mornings and late evenings are her favorite times to run!! She is very curious and likes to 'tease' the other females in the pasture.

Later at two weeks old, she is nibbling on hay and grazing in the pasture with the other females. She thinks she is as big as they are!!

Description

On April 29, we were blessed with a very handsome male cria who we named Bello Prophet's Elias. We call him Eli. His mom is our own sweet Jerae's Precious 'Rubie' and his dad is Bello Prophet from Southern Cross Alpacas in Hayesville, NC. Eli has soft, medium fawn fleece like his parents with tons of crimp. He shares a birthday with our sweet Jerae's Vanilla Mist AKA Misty. We hope he will grow up to be a fine herdsire and do well in halter/fleece shows.

UPDATE #1: As of Jan 29, 2017, our Eli is 9 months. He has awesome crispy medium fawn fleece. He likes to follow us around, gives kisses, and hums for treats.He will be attending his second alpaca show in March. We are hoping he will do well in halter class competition.

UPDATE #2: Even though Eli has some great fleece, he did not receive a ribbon in the juvenile halter show in March 2017. There was some stiff competition!! Also, judges determined that his fleece is light brown.

UPDATE #3: As of March 29, our Eli is 11 months old. He loves to hum and is very vocal!! He loves people and will give kisses especially for treats. He can also be a little mischievous with other young alpacas and with us!!

UPDATE #4: Eli is now 2 yrs old and will be ready to begin his breeding career very soon. He is a very sweet and gentle male that will allow some petting. When you call him, he comes running just in case you have some yellow dandelion flowers or some treats!!

UPDATE #5: Eli is 4 years old as of April 29, 2020. He is ready for breeding. He is a gentle male who will allow some petting. He love his mineral supplement feed and treats!!
