Alexandra has had her first cria, and she has proven to be a wonderful, attentive mom, with lots of milk. Her cria's IgG level was over 3,000!!

"Alex" has beautiful soft, dense, crimpy fleece with very good coverage. She has excellent conformation and good bone. Her fleece has a "bluish" cast that everyone notices. One person said, "I didn't know alpacas came in blue!"

Description

Amber is a medium brown girl with black points. She has a very stout build with great confirmation. Her fiber is very dense and soft with a decent staple length. She has full coverage from head to toe, and has a beautiful head.

Her sire is the well-known HA Shades of Gray, a medium rose grey, champion male. He stems from two great producers – 5Peruvian Silverado and PPPervuian Sienna.

Amber’s dam, Alexandra, is a medium silver grey animal with a pedigree packed with great grey producers as well. She is sired by Pride of America, a multi-winner out of the great 6Peruvian Dom Timbo and 6Peruvian Dona Maisa. Other names in her pedigree include 5Peruvian Iceman and 6Peruvian Odesa.

With all of the phenomenal grey animals in her background, it's no wonder Amber was able to produce a beautiful dark rose grey boy with Faraway Farm Aladdin.

She has been re-bred to Aladdin for a Fall 2018 cria. We'd love a repeat as a female this time!

Contracts are typically initiated with 25% down and monthly payments divided out over 12 months; however, we are flexible and open to terms that may better suit your needs. Package and cash discounts are offered under certain conditions. Most purchases come with 60 days free board or free board until weaning. Nationwide, affordable transporters come by the farm several times a year. We can also meet at shows or along the way.
