Platinum Marquis has proven himself nationally in the show ring. Shown, as a juvenile, at the three largest North American alpaca shows (AOBA,AAA Futurity and MAPACA) in 2004, Platinum Marquis won Champion and Reserve Grey Color Champion in these three shows.His luster and his lock are so remarkable that many breeders ask if he is an accoyo. He is a full Peruvian with accoyo blood from his dam's (Silverbelle) side (Bruxo, Uribe and Helios). Silverbelle was the Reserve Grey Color Champion at both AOBA and AAA Futurity in 2002 as well as the highest selling suri alpaca at the 2002 AOBA National Auction. Platinum Marquis' sire, Silver Marquis,is a deep gunmetal silver grey, a product of two silver grey parents, Silver King and Silver Gem. Platinum Marquis, a third generation silver grey suri,sired his first crop of crias born in 2006.All of them were colored suris with excellent lock and luster and out of 14 born, 10 were grey. Since then, Platinum Marquis has produced many more champion winning cria.Some of his well known champion cria  are, GLR Marakesh , GLR Orion, GLR Kiva , GLR Picassa , GLR Chasca, GLR Silvario and Silvano of PVA.

Description

GLR Skye is the daughter of our Platinum Marquis and GLR Khianti, a 4P Condor daughter. Her grandmother, 4P Kenamari, is a well known producer of auction high sellers and Champion and blue ribbon cria. Skye is a classic medium silver grey girl, with wonderful colored genetics from the late 4P Condor who is well known in the industry for producing the kind of offspring that really turn heads. Skye had a black Shavano son in 2011 and her 2012 classic grey beautiful son, GLR Santana rocked the show ring in 2013.In 2014 , GLR Santana has won the AOA National's and AAA Futurity Grey Male Color Championships. His luster and fineness were quite remarkable and noted by some of our best senior judges in the industry. Skye had a 2015 female cria, named GLR Silavria, who is a full sister to her brother Silavario who won the Grey 2014 AOA and AAA Futurity Championships. Skye is bred once again to Rastamon and expecting in early fall 2017.
