A son of Accoyo Felix and a grandson of Caligula on his dam's side, Calypsa possesses a regal bearing and perfect conformation. With his commanding presence, it is no surprise that Calypsa captured a first place at the 2001 AOBA Nationals. His lustrous, champagne-colored fleece is extremely fine and dense. His AFD at 4 years of age was a low 22.5 microns. He consistently shears over 10 pounds of fleece! He has won either first or second place in every Spin-Off he has entered.
He has 28 outstanding crias on the ground showing a variety of colors including beige, fawn, light brown, true black, rose gray, and silver gray. Calypsa is one of those males who usually lets the color of the dam pass through while passing along his density and fineness to his crias.
At the 2005 East Meets West Auction, Calypsa's daughter, Brookhollow's Athena, was the highest selling female at $60,000! His daughter Beauchner's Jasmine, won best light color championship at the 2008 Maryland Show.
Included in his breeding fee: Ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy, 60 days' free board, and a 30-day live cria guarantee.
As a special service to small breeders, this year we are also including a FEMALE GUARANTEE! If your breeding results in a male cria, we will give you a free re-breed to that female for only the cost of board.
