    Skylines Amora sold at the Snow Diamond Select auction to MAJESTIC MEADOWS. Thank you Faye Farley for your purchase. It is sad to see Amora leave our farm but I'm so pleased she is headed to Majestic Meadows. She is a beautiful alpaca!

    SUBSTITUTION FOR LOT 23 - SNOW DIAMOND SELECT AUCTION, OCT. 8TH
    Skyline Alpacas makes a point of offering our very best at auction and our substitution for lot 23, Skyline’s Amora is also no exception. Just as we had not intended to sell Adriana we also had not intended to sell Amora. When Adriana developed a health issue we made the very difficult choice to substitute Amora in her place. Amora has fabulous bloodlines and we were not surprised by the quality of the cria we achieved when we breed Amora’s Dam, Skyline’s Mahogany Mist - a Silver Celebration daughter to our 12X Champion/Res.Champion herdsire Snowmass Enlightened. Luckily, we still own both the parents so we can repeat this breeding and hope for another Amora! She is another one of those really sweet girls with an awesome fleece that has gorgeous crimp, brightness and fineness and she is extremely dense! Look at her 2016 Histogram: AFD: 17.2, SD: 3.5, CV: 20.2, %>30: 0.6.

    She excited the judges as well. At Alpacapalooza 2016, Amora took 1st in a combined class of 11 Juvenile Grey Females, and went on to win the Grey Color Championship. Then a month later she took 1st place at CABA Classic in the combined Juvenile Rose Grey class. Amora’s maiden breeding is included with her purchase. You can choose any one of our outstanding herdsires.
