Description

Accoyo America Zurbriggen appears to be the best result yet of a pairing that has always impressed, that of the Accoyo America Nautilus daughter Heidi with the El Nino son Accoyo America Denali. This robust young herdsire has an extremely dense, brilliant white fleece with an impeccable juvenile histogram: 14.4/2.2/15.6/0.2. He carries that tremendous fleece on an upright, heavy-boned frame; shearing over 8 lbs of fiber last year! His full siblings have been highly successful in the showring, but what is most impressive with this cross is the quantity and enduring quality of their fleeces. Zurbriggen's full sister Swiss Miss shears a fleece almost as heavy as some of the studs on Little Creek Farm's elite herdsire row. Zurbriggen's dam Heidi is ranked 22 out of nearly 32,000 animals in the EPD database for SDAFD. Its in the genes.
