Description

Monet is simply stunning! His fleece is a gorgeous landscape of flowing Light Rose Gray and Beige with Light Silver Grey along his ears, neck and top-line and a darker grey on his back feet. If you are looking to add color, staple length and fleece weight to your herd, backed by a top notch pedigree and show record, don't let this junior herdsire get away! The 2018 EPDs show his Mean Staple Length at 186mm is in the top 5.11% and his Fleece Weight is in the top 7.81%, both traits inherited from his sire who is Top 1% in MSL and Top 2% in FW. He also brings good fineness in his unique appaloosa fleece and a nice temperment to match!

Monet won a first place ribbon at the AOA National Halter Show in 2018 in the Appaloosa Yearling class. At 7 months old, he placed 3rd at The Futurity Halter Show in the Suri Fancy Juvenile Male class. His juvie fleece (7 months growth) won a Best Bred & Owned and a 1st place ribbon at the Suri Network Fleece Show, a 1st place ribbon at the CABA Classic Fleece show in the Juvenile Appaloosa Class, a 1st place at the National Alpaca Fleece show and a 1st place at the Southern Alpaca Celebration Fleece show 2018. In the Get of Sire competition, Monet and half brothers Zenale and Bramante placed 2nd at CABA, 4th at Suri Network and 6th at the AOA National Fleece Show.

Monet's Sire, Eldora's Accoyo Talent by Rockstar, is a 2X Judge's Choice, 3X Champion, 10X Blue Ribbon winner with Top 1% EPD's for Mean Staple Length, Top 2% EPD ranking for Fleece Weight, with top tier density at 71 Follicles/SQ MM and excellent fineness.
