      Description

Star has a superfine fleece with the softest hand, especially for a rose gray. She won Champion and Reserve Champion halter awards in the show ring in 2006, and was awarded 1st Place at the AOBA National Fleece Show in 2008. Her sire is 4P Daric, a dark brown Peruvian import who has produced of grey offspring.

Star has been a model dam, too, getting pregnant quickly as a maiden, delivering easily, and re-breeding quickly. She has plenty of milk and her crias are very vigorous and healthy. Her first cria is WRSR Claytonite's Starlight, a stunning dark rose grey with her coloring that beautiful purple maroon of her sire, Cantano's Peruvian Claytonite. Starlight place always in the top 2 in shows, including a 1st Place at the Futurity. Star was bred to Jimbobway, our 1/2 Accoyo density superstar and she delivered a very healthy and fast-growing boy, WRSR Stargate by Jimbobway. Stargate appears fawn, but may ultimately turn rose gray. He is dense, very fine, and has beautiful locking.

Star and her daughter Starlight are very bonded, and play together like crias. They chase, wrestle, look out for each other, and lay next to each other. It's really fun to see this mother-daughter duo's antics! I would like to sell them together and offer special pricing on the purchase of both of them.

NOTE: A COMPLIMENTARY BREEDING IS NOT OFFERED FOR THE ALPACABID.COM AUCTION PURCHASES.

Star is currently open and ready to breed to the choice of your selected herd sire. You can choose any one of our outstanding, award-winning sires with your purchase, including black, full Accoyo, grey, and multiple champions!
