    Xena had another outstanding Winchester cria this summer (2009). This time an outstanding male - looks like he is going to be bay black! We are very excited. He is dense, crimpy and fine with Winchester's trademark conformation and style!

    We purchased Xena at the 2005 AOBA National for her beautiful true black fleece and her beautiful sire, CPeruvian Black. Xena is a Reserve Color Champion! Xena has given us two wonderful true black crias sired by our 7X Champion SA Peruvian Black Epic - top winning full Peruvian black male in the US!! Xena's first cria is multi-ribbon winner Hobby Horse Princess Livia sold at the 2007 National Elite auction to the Kyger family of Maple Grove Alpacas. Xena's second cria is a terrific male - Hobby Horse Black Epic's Warlord. He'll make his debut next spring in our show string (or yours!).

    Xena boasts an outstanding pedigree - she is a Black Hawk daughter and Accoyo Cahuide granddaughter.

    Xena had an awesome brown female cria in 2008 sired by the one and only 6X Champion CPeruvian Winchester.

    Description

    Signature is a blue black male that draws your attention and holds it. With his tall well balanced and sturdy frame, he is stunning to look at and his confident stride brings it all together. Perfect conformation, and a mellow personality, combined with a fleece that will rival many whites in hand, he will surely bring something special to your breeding program.

    He brings to the table a strong black heritage that can be noted on his ARI certificate with almost 80% of his ancestors being black. His sire, the legendary Black Epic, (now deceased), is a seven time champion, and his dam is a true black champion. He produces grey when bred to grey.

    He brings incredible uniformity of micron his cria. One of his first offspring's fleece, received the Spinners Dream award at the 2014 International Alpaca Odyssey!
