    AVC AJ's Kodiak-Futurity Champion Producer

    Eea1a3 color genotype. Having an a3 allele has proven consistently to produce that rich blue-black in our herd. It is being passed through multiple generations and they are non-fading true blacks (not brown on the outside).

    Kodiak is closed to outside breedings!

Kodiak has an outstanding track record of producing black over 80% of the time when bred to black and over 60% of the time when bred to any other color! Amazing!! She is the complete package in conformation, style and fleece characteristics!

    Kodiak is an incredible full-Peruvian, 3/8 Accoyo, true black male. Kodiak's phenotype is outstanding. Kodiak is straight, has substance of bone and a gorgeous head. His fleece is exceptional. This well-organized fleece is a delight to touch. Kodiak's fleece is one of the blackest, non fading fleeces, a blue black with no white fibers. Kodiak is the complete package with uncompromising fineness, density, and uniformity of micron and crimp.
