Patagonia's El Vasco has a championship show record due to his very stylish look and very dense (70 follicles SQMM) very soft (19 micron) very consistent (SP 13to1) fleece. El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. He has a beautiful head. Vasco is 1/2 brother to Kaspa, the 2003 AOBA grey champion male (same dam). He has sired well over 100 offspring.

El Vasco was sired by the famous, exotic modern grey Neruda. One of the industry's rare dark point grey's, Neruda sold for $205,000 making his genetics some of the most sought after in the country. Vasco's dam, Melosa was sired by PPeruvian Pluro who made a name for himself in Peru, the United States and Australia. Pluro's breeding's were in high demand for his ability to pass on his incredible fleece coverage and large bone.

PATAGONIA'S LA MITA
La Mita' sire is Patagonia's El Vasco, a beautiful black male sired by the exotic Patagonia's Neruda. El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). At age 10 he was maintaining a 23.6 AFD.

Her dam Kala is a beautiful Nishio Granddaughter who produces show quality offspring time and time again.

On 6/28/2014, La Mita presented us with Patagonia Estates Pretty Lady, an awesome medium fawn female sired by Patagonia's Ernesto. Pretty Lady’s name says it all! She has a bone structure that is solid and exceeds the Alpaca Evaluation Handbook. She was awarded second place ribbons from both the 2015 TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular and 2016 The Futurity shows

On 8/21/2017, La Mita gave us Estates Lauralyn, a lovely LB female also sired by Patagonia's Ernesto. Ernesto is our magnificent light brown compact herdsire that improves every dam to her fullest potential.
