PATAGONIA'S CAPRICIA
Capricia's line is known for lasting fineness. Her sire, Patagonia's El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked El Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). At age 10 he was maintaining a 23.6 AFD. Capricia's paternal grandsire is the exotic Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction.

Capricia's dam, Patagonia's Nitika comes from two outstanding multi-champion parents. Her sire is our legendary multi champion brown herdsire, Patagonia's Lennox. His fleece is soft, fine, dense, exhibits high frequency crimp and is bright. Lennox, an 8x color champion is proving himself in the show ring again through his award-winning progeny. Capricia's maternal grandam is Patagonia's Black Rose, a true black Nishio daughter. Black Rose is a 6x Black female Champion and has won multiple blue ribbons.

In 2024, Capricia has One trait ranking in the Top 7% EPDs plus Four ranking in the Top 25%!

We opted to re-breed Capricia back to our wonderful Snowmass Pure Passion for an October 2025 cria.


Offspring:
On 5/24/18, Capricia gave us a lovely light fawn female sired by our 6x champion, Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight. ESTATES MAJESTIC CAPRICIA won 3rd place (out of a class of 9) at her first show, the 2019 Carolina Alpaca Celebration.

On 6/10/19, Capricia presented us with a beautiful light fawn female sired by champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion. ESTATES PURELY CAPRI is a 3X Champion - winning Color Champion at the 2021 Gold Country show, Best Head, 1st place & Reserve Champion at the 2022 AOA show, as well as 1st place & Reserve Champion at the 2022 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes!

On 7/28/20, Capricia gave birth to an attractive light fawn female also sired by Snowmass Pure Passion. ESTATES PASSIONATE CLARA won a Blue Ribbon at the 2024 Houston Livestock Show! She also won First Place at the 2023 Houston Livestock Show (ranch-mate Estates Fever's Fancy Flower won Color Champion & Judge's Choice).

On 11/1/21, Capricia gave us a pretty medium fawn female again sired by our amazing champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion.

On 8/22/23, Capricia presented us with a beautiful light fawn female also sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion.

On 9/9/24, Capricia gave us a handsome beige male sired by Amber Autumn Hot Chocolate (who recently won two blue ribbons for Get of Sire).
