In 2007 Nishio was awarded the All-American Reserve Herdsire of the Year, in 2004 the All-American Herdsire of the Year, and in 2005 was the AOBA Get-of-Sire winner.
Nishio has an exquisite fleece, which is black in color, extremely dense and full of high frequency crimp. Nishio's offspring have incredible fleeces and their achievements in the showring are impressive. PATAGONIA'S CHILEAN MOONLIGHT

Chilean Moonlight was assessed as an "A-" by Amanda VandenBosch. She is the daughter of Patagonia’s Ernesto is our magnificent Judge's Choice, 7x Champion & 5x Get of Sire award winning light brown herdsire. He is well known for his ability to stamp his positive traits onto each of his offspring.

Her multi award winning dam, La Chona is a beautiful Nishio daughter. La Chona brought home a color championship at the 2006 Buckeye Alpaca Show and has won multiple blue ribbons as well.
