    BEDFORD'S LIBERTY

Huacaya, Female, Proven | Bay Black

    AOA# 32610116   D.O.B. 5/26/2012

    Sire:
    ALPHA OMEGA'S BRAVO
    | AOA# 31397025  | White  |
BRAVO ATTENDS HIS 1ST SHOW AND RECEIVES A RED RIBBON ALONG WITH HIGH COMPLIMENTS FROM FIBER JUDGE, MARY REED! MARY STATED, WE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT IN OUR BREEDING PROGRAM BECAUSE BRAVO HAS ALMOST NO GUARD HAIR, CONSISTENT BRIGHT WHITE CRIMP THROUGHOUT HIS DENSE BLANKET, EXCELLENT COVERAGE, VERY LONG STAPLE LENGTH AND GOOD BUNDLING FIBER!

To top it off Bravo has a small brown patch of crimpy fiber on his side the same color as his herdsire~Designer Genes. Bravo would make a very nice herdsire to breed to not only white, but color to add strong crimp character and density!!

His sire is HAA PERUVIAN DESIGNER GENES a magnificent Dark Brown herdsire!! Loads of color from his sire: Dom Timbo is DSG; Peruvian Cornerstone is True Black; Peruvian Camelot is Medium Brown. His dam is White Brynhilda bring genetics from wellknown herdsires such as Peruvian King, Peruvian El Rey and Northcoast Picasso. Brynhilda has the look of an accoyo and adds good density to Bravo.

    BVD tested neg.

    Dam:
    Starburst of Peach Mountain
    | AOA# 30963955  | Light Silver Grey  |
She has incredible presence and perfect confirmation. Then I looked at her fiber. The density and fineness is truely incredible. Many people don't give these Bolivian animals the credit they deserve. With her upright head carriage and huge kind eyes she would have been a show stopper. She is the grand daughter of LEGACY OF BOLIVIA superior Bolivian gentics. She bred on the first time to Silvio grandson Gunnison's Silver Streak. Starburst had adopted an orphan cria from another farm!! This doesn't happen very often and is a great asset to bring to the table. She is the dam of Bedford's Luther(winner of two Blue Ribbons)-pattern, Bedford's Liberty-bright bay black, and most recently Bedford's Tornado Ali.

    Service Sire:
    Dupioni's Vintage Troubadour
    | AOA# 31629317  | White  |
    BLUE RIBBON AT MAPACA 2013!

This is one very special male. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome - what else from such a wonderful combination:

(Snowmass) Lilly's Accoyo Dupioni x El Nino's Precious Gem-Stone. Gem has won 25 Ribbons in 8 Shows! She is a 6X White Color Champion, 1 Reserve Championship, 8 blue ribbons, and many specialty ribbons, including 5X Best Huacaya Crimp award (including 2007 Nationals) and 3X Judge's Choice (including the Ohio AlpacaFest 2007). Dupioni is also a Color Champion in the show ring!

Crimp throughout his head - not just between his ears - his entire head! He has crimpy cheeks! He is totally bundled, exceptionally bright, very sturdy with legs that look like tree trunks with so much fiber between his toes he looks like he has slippers on his feet! His bundles are curly-crimpy, his density is superior - you can feel his skin folds! Top it all off with the best head ever and he is surely a stunning elite male.

    Description

In June 2018 Libby delivered a healthy male cria-Sam Adams. He is all white with a dark fawn spot in the middle of his long neck-just where a bowtie would go. This spot has been carried on the paternal side with most of the male offspring. He is growning up to be a very friendly, beautifully fleeced boy with great conformation. He was a bit slow to grow in the first six months, but is maturing quite well now. We will certainly retain some breedings from this male when he is sold as he has great genetics behind him.
