You could not ask for a more well built sturdy framed female. This female is exceptionally fleeced with a continued fine bright fiber in hand with great density….a perfect match with Snowmass Matrix! The Skinners loved the outcome of this cross so much Heidi’s Little Princess was rebred to Matrix before being sold at auction. Principe was held back from being sold at side with the expectation he'd be used in their breeding program.

Snowmass Matrix Principe is just an all around spectacular guy! He is the son of Snowmass Matrix, famous son of Snowmass Quechua. We absolutely love what Principe brings to our breeding program. He is a handsome compact male, with great balance, strong bone and fine, dense fleece everywhere! His amazing pedigree lists the top of the pyramid males generation upon generation, with Matrix, Quechua, 4Peruvian Legacy, Hemingway, and Cahuide on his paternal side. His dam also has her bragging rights coming from Felix and Bueno combination from the elite Maple Brook breeding program. You can see from the pictures he has impeccable good looks. Get into his fleece and you will want to sink your hands in there and never let go!

We worked with Julie Skinner on finding a male that would take our breeding program to the next level above the great males we already have in our program. We were looking for genetic and fleece combinations they have had great success with in their breeding program. After looking at several outstanding potential males, we couldn't resist Principe. Julie stated Principe is the very finest of Matrix sons and is also very dense like his sire. Discussing a male to put over our Royal Challanger son, Snowmass Golden Victory, Julie said "The Royal Challenger lines with Matrix are our very best!" We can't wait to see this combination come together in our breeding program!

Check out Principe's histograms and you will see extreme fineness in color that is maintaining very nicely. Principe has volumes of fleece in coverage and staple and density.

What more do you need to know to give this guy a date with your girls? Principe's cria display significant improvement in fleece from their dams, extreme brightness and beautiful hand.

Financing Terms

Creative financing available. Breeding stock come with full reproductive guarantees. The buyer must keep insurance on each alpaca until they are paid in full. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer unless said otherwise.
