PRODUCER OF CHAMPIONS

Accoyo America Angelfish

Huacaya, Female, Proven | White

Sire:
ACCOYO AMERICA KINGFISH
| AOA# 32322330  | White  |
After winning the white championship at every show he entered in 2013, Kingfish demonstrated his enduring fleece qualities with a second, back to back championship at the AOA National Show in 2014. A multiple-time Judges’ Choice winner and phenotypic powerhouse, Accoyo America Kingfish impressed the judges with his solid conformation and fine, exquisitely structured fleece with remarkable brightness and hand. They noted with approval how his blanket fleece extended uniformly down and across his belly and into his brisket with a consistent expression of crimp. Kingfish is out of Accoyo America Karma, an outstanding Ulysses daughter that ranks among our very top production dams and boasts an 18 micron fleece in middle age. Kingfish’s sire is none other than the Futurity and AOBA champion white male, Accoyo America Shogun, a Legacy son from a Hemingway/Sicuani dam. We consider this fusion of genetics to be the next step in our breeding program.

Description

We are very happy that we were able to add Accoyo America Angelfish to our breeding program. We showed her briefly in the 2017 show season before she returned to Little Creek Farm for maiden breeding in the spring of 2018. A color champion at her first show, Accoyo America Angelfish has an ultra-fine, dense fleece with the same brightness and luscious handle that her sire Kingfish did at that age. This is evidenced by her histograms over the last decade. Angelfish carries all this on a feminine, upright well-balanced substantive frame. We fell in love with this female for her heavy, fine fleece genetics. Angelfish's dam, Treasure , a Road Warrior daughter sheared nearly 9 lbs of 20 micron fleece the same week she gave birth to Angelfish, her third cria. Her sire, Kingfish sheared well over 9 pounds of 19 micron fleece that same year. Angelfish was awarded Best Crimp at the 2017 AOA National Fleece Conference and 2017 ABR Fall Festival. It is no wonder that Angelfish is one of our best Stud Females at Flying Iron Ranch. As predicted by her stellar EPDs, Angelfish has produced multiple Judge's choice, multi-champion offspring for our program, including FIR Sub-Seven's Gabriel and FIR El Guapo's Julietta.
